An anti-fall and flared crown is an accessory of fundamental importance for Bafang motors for an improvement of the chain line. The profile with narrow teeth alternating with wide teeth is one of the peculiar characteristics of a fall protection crown, thanks to which the chain can be restrained.
The fall of the chain cannot be absolutely excluded, since in any case violent impacts or mud deposits can have repercussions in this sense, but it is certain that in almost all classic driving situations, remain in their place.
The aesthetics have significantly improved compared to the standard crowns.
